Jane Lui: Firefly

Lui immigrated to California in 1990 and obtained a Music degree from San Diego State University.

Lui officially launched her solo career in 2004, and has since become an awarded Performer/Songwriter, touring West/East Coast, Sydney, Europe, & Canada.

“I’m not all that funny, am painfully shy, and have learned that i am most earnest and well understood when i’m in my head. on or off stage. More than anything, i want to be on the road meeting new people and places while doing what i do best, so every time i come home, i am more.”

Jess Chalker: You and me

We ran across this video of Jess and thought you might like it.

Jess is an interesting blend of acoustic folk from Australia.

She writes well and has a clear, clean voice which is light and on pitch when she lets it go. Jess ends the video with an introduction to MaryAnn, her guitar.
