Megan & Liz – Maybe, Possibly

Megan & Liz are 16 year olds and LOVE to sing! Megan has been playing the guitar for about 3 years. They are, indeed, TWINS! Megan is older by one minute.

(C) MEGAN & LIZ 2009
Lyrics:
We broke up, and now I’m just waiting for you
To wake up, and realize that this is all you
And what you’re putting me through
Believe me when I say, you’re gunna regret it,
You’ll see

(CHORUS)
That Maybe, Possibly I was the best I don’t compare to the rest
And maybe, possibly you make me aware of everything I say and do
And maybe, possibly I still want you

Verse 2:
We broke up and now I’m just waiting for me
To see, the real reality
That what we had is only what we used to be
I should’ve know better, I could’ve done better…
I should’ve known better, I could’ve done better..

Chris Cendana – Here

What a beautiful song and what a great talent. Chris Cendana is an artist from Pittsburg, PA.

“Here” by Chris Cendana
Copyright 2009 Chris Cendana Music

Every time youre down and upset
Shoulders weighted down with regret
Even when the load wont let you go
Gather up what hurts you so bad
And the situation you have
Its alright to take your time to let it show
You know

You can call me and I will lend an ear
Baby you can call me
When its raining tears
I might be gone but not for long
So have no fear
You can call me
And know your man is here

Maybe we can talk a while
Maybe we can share a smile
Guess Ill never know
Unless by chance I score a laugh

We can reminisce about
How we got to where we are now
Or maybe that one time
you bruised me in the eye really bad
Remember that

You can call me and I will lend an ear
Baby you can call me
When its raining tears
I might be gone but not for long
So have no fear
You can call me
And know your man is here

You dont have to make the call right now
But it would be nice to hear your voice
Somehow

You can call me and I will lend an ear
Baby you can call me
When it is raining tears
I might be gone but not for long
So have no fear
You can call me
And know your man is here

You can call me
And know your man is here.

Lilian Bui: Cardboard Box

A cute song. Listen to it a few times and it gets stuck in your head.

Cardboard Box

Cardboard box
Could you hold a memory?
Cardboard box
I’m not ready to leave

Could you pester somebody else
While I recollect myself?
Oh, no.

Cardboard box
What a nuisance you are
Cardboard box
Don’t you dare go too far

Can’t you see I don’t wanna let go?
Take it all, but don’t take my soul
Cuz I hate goodbyes

Cardboard box
Got more memories ahead
Cardboard box
So I’ll dream of those instead

‘Scuse me for constantly grieving but
You don’t know what you got til it’s gone
I’m packing up my bags and I’m leaving cuz
I’m moving
I’m moving on

Sam Hart: Mario Kart Love Song

A classic song.

lyrics:

V1:
You be my princess
I’ll be your toad
I’ll follow behind you
on rainbow road
Protect you from red shells
wherever we go
I promise.

V2:
Noone will touch us
if we pick up a star
If you spin out
you can ride in my car
When we slide together
we generate sparks
in our wheels and our hearts

Chorus:
The finish line
is just around the bend
I’ll pause this game
so our love will never end
Let’s go again

V3:
The blue shell is coming
so I’ll go ahead
If you hang behind
it’ll hit me instead
but never look back
cause I’m down but not dead
I’ll catch up to you

Bridge:
Don’t worry about
Bowser or DK
Eat this glowing mushroom
and they’ll all fade away

Chorusx2

to the mushroom cup
and the flower cup
and the star cup
and the reverse cup

walalalalala
walalalalalawaluigiiiiii

Tom Milsom – Catsongs II

Against our policy of listing only one work per artists… we just couldn’t resist.

If you want to laugh, watch Tom’s video on life and death and the cat.

Lyrics

Don’t you want to be the one
To tell him, oh why can’t you see
The only people that you’re
Hurting here are you and me,
We’ll be together once again
Just one big happy family
Minus the cat.

Oh I don’t believe I’m
Hearing this, just don’t be such a twat.
He was just fine when his
Granddad died, he’ll live without the cat.
He’s old enough to understand
That dying is a natural
Part of life.

We’ve talked about the birds and bees
So why ya hiding this from me?
It’s plain to me why can’t you see
I don’t need any therapy for this.

This could be unnecessary
Pain and quite a lot of nasty
Strain upon his brain and you know
How expensive therapy can

Be for just one session nowadays
And just for dealing with a
Phase that he’ll grow out of in a
Couple of years, it’s true.

We’ve talked about the birds and bees
So why ya hiding this from me?
It’s plain to me why can’t you see
I don’t need any therapy for this.

We’ve talked about the birds and bees.
So why ya hiding this from me?
It’s not like I mind.
I mean, come on.
I’d figure it out someday.

Verse 1 – 2 and 3 – 4 repeat and fade.

Shagpile: Young

Really, really well done song by Shagpile (aka Jason Vare), a  29 year old singer songwriter from NE England – a little town called Bedlington, about 10 miles from Newcastle. Everything is recorded in his bedroom in his little flat.

Jason uses Second Life graphics to tell the story and we think he would be much better served not using these. He is a talent.

Jason has a free album available for downloading at www.shagpile.org – you should check it out.

Reina Del Cid: Wonder

Reina (pronounced “RAY-nuh”) is from the United States and has been playing guitar since she was around 15 without much formal instruction. She has many wonderful original songs and is a great talent.

Lyrics:
There are a few new leaves
On my backyard tree
And I never want to trip you up with honesty
But I guess the burden of the truth
Was greater than me

I’ve got my blue guitar and my coffee mug
God, I’m always singing
All these songs of love
But you, what do I know about you?

Instrumental

What can I say? If I feel this way
It’s like trying to paint a picture
With just shades of gray
And I can’t help but see in color
When I look at your face

I can talk about my wildest plans
And you’ll understand cause the
Words are always resting in my open hands
But you, what can I say about you?

Chorus:
Now I wonder what it would be like
To have your hand in mine
I’d rather fail than to never try

There are a few good fruits
On the friendship shoot
But I never trusted people like I’m trusting you
And time can move so slowly
When you’re not here

You make the doubts dry up
When my mind shuts down
And it’s never been as open
As it is right now
See, I feel like I could do this
If you wanted to

Devin O’Toole: Catch & Release

President of Everything is the alias of singer/songwriter Devin O’Toole, a native of Syracuse, NY. With little more than a guitar and his voice he creates an audioscape that can only come from a blend of musicianship and pure melody.

Lyrics:
If I wander out too far,
Reel me back in with the rope
And if the rope begins to fray
Darlin’ don’t you be afraid

Cause I may float away
But I will never stray
Too far away, my love
I’ll swim right back up the river
I may float away
But I will never stray
Too far away, my love
I’ll swim back to you forever, love.

If the water gets too deep
Pull me back inside the boat
And if the boat won’t stay afloat
At least you’re going down with me

[chorus]

If you’d rather let me go (oh-oh-oh)
Go ahead and cut the rope
But if the current drags me back to you
I can’t promise it’s the last
You’ll see of me

[chorus]
